Wide Receiver Start Drill Teaching the Wide Receivers to get off the line of scrimmage.
  1. Getting off the line is VERY important, whether its a pass play or a run play requiring blocking from the WR.
  2. Teaching the wide receiver how to get off the line properly will give your offense an advantage in the passing game.
  3. When your WR comes off the line the same way EVERY play, the defense will be guessing if its a pass or run.

WR Stance Drill Teach the WR how to get in the proper 2-point wide receiver stance.
  1. Key to getting of the line quickly is starting off in the right stance.
  2. Teaching and enforcing the use of the right stance will instill some discipline into your players, always a good thing.
  3. When your WR uses the proper stance every play the defense cannot tell between pass or run.

  1. The curl route is the HARDEST for a cornerback to defend 1-on-1 when run properly.
