Offensive Line 4-Point Stance Drill Teach your Offensive Line the proper 4-point stance.
  1. Blocking is all about body position, teach your players to start off in the right position
  2. The better blocking, the better run game.
  3. Control the game with a punishing blocking game.
Offensive Line Cone Drill To teach proper blocking stance, footwork and hand use for pass blocking
  1. Giving the QB time to pass is critical to an effective passing game.
  2. Improve the QB's confidence in the offensive line.
  3. Reduce the number of sacks and overall defensive pressure.
OL Down Block Drill To teach the offensive line to properly down block.
  1. The most basic block is the down block, executed properly it's still hard to beat.
  2. Open wide, clear running lanes for your running backs.
  3. Improve your rushing attack quickly.
Offensive Line Drive Block Drill Teach your offensive linemen to drive block properly and effectively.
  1. A good drive block will wear the defensive line out quickly.
  2. Punish the defense while gaining large amounts of yardage on the ground.
  3. Have the confidence to go for the short yardage runs.
OL Get off the Line Drill Teach your OL to explode off the line properly, or settle properly into pass protection.
  1. Getting your offensive linemen off the line quickly and in the proper position is half the battle in blocking.
  2. Open up the running lanes quickly so your running backs have time to hit the hole and explode downfield.
Offensive Line Hook Block Drill Teach the proper hook block to your offensive line.
  1. When you need to run outside you have to account for the defensive end.
  2. The most effective method is a good hook block to seal off the edge.
  3. This can open up big plays to the outside.
OL Mirror Dodge Drill To enhance lateral movement, balance and body control of your offensive line.
  1. The more under control a linemen is the better he can react to a defensive rush.
  2. The worst place for a linemen is on the ground, teach your OL to maintain balance and position.
Offensive Line Pass Protection Drill Teach your offensive line to properly pass block.
  1. Protecting the QB is priority #1 for the offensive line.
  2. Keep defensive pressure away from the QB.
  3. Teach the proper skills and fundamentals to pass block.
OL Recognition Drill To teach players to recognize different defense fronts.
  1. Having a smart offensive line that can recognize the defensive front is key.
  2. Drill your offensive linemen to recognize different fronts and adjust their blocking as needed.
Offensive Line Strain Drill To simulate a stalemate at a drive block’s moment of contact
  1. Sometimes their is a stalemate at the point of contact.
  2. Teach your offensive line how to win this stalemate and drive the defender backwards.
