Defensive Back Hands Drill Instruct defensive backs to read the wide receivers hands.
  1. Reading the hands of the wide receiver allows the defensive back to focus on ONE thing, the WR.
  2. This eliminates the problem of defensive backs losing track of the WR while trying to find the ball in the air.
DB Weave Drill Teach the DB to maintain proper depth and cushion will in pass coverage.
  1. If a defensive back lets a wide receiver get too far or too close to him it could be big trouble.
  2. This drill allows defensive backs to get a feel of their own personal cushion zone that works for them.
